From the Wairarapa Archives comes this press clipping of the 60th anniversary of St Andrew's in December 1982.
"The Upper Plain Anglican church celebrated its 60th anniversary over the weekend with a special service on Sunday morning.
The small country church was packed for the service, addressed by Archdeacon V. C. Venimore, who was vicar of St Matthew's Church in Masterton from 1952 to 1974.
After the service, visitors and parishioners were invited to a celebratory lunch held at the Fernridge School.
In the photo, Archdeacon Venimore, left, and the Rev. Ian Cooper chat before the historical service began on Sunday morning."

Also from the Archives, is a photo of St Andrew's from around 1956.
