The hospitality suite - April's car and a selection of folding tables - was set up ready for another al fresco morning tea, while a couple of urns bubbled merrily away at the back of the church.
The outdoor "vestry" was ready, the fence forming a handy clothing rail.
Judy Wagg checked her impressive new lens, while Caryl Forrest, with slightly less impressive camera gear, got on with taking a few photos before starting into the pre-service music.
Bishop Tom arrived and caught up with Dan Rodda.
